CHARLESBRIDGE, MHC WELCOMES HANWAR HARNETT AS NEW RETAIL BANKING LEADER
Charlesbridge MHC, the Mutual Holding Company for Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank, has announced the appointment of Hanwar Harnett as the Director of Retail Banking.
With an impressive 24-year tenure in the banking industry, Harnett joins the organization after a distinguished 15-year career at Rockland Trust, where he most recently served as District Manager, overseeing banking centers throughout the former East Boston Savings footprint.
Harnett’s career also includes impactful roles as Banking Center Manager, and a constant commitment to community service, reflected in his work on the Board of Governors for the Old Colony YMCA and the Board of Advisors for the S.E.A.L. Foundation.
In his new role, Harnett will oversee the Retail franchise across all locations, focusing on each Bank’s unique services, client base and community. He will also work on cultivating a high-engagement culture built on employee retention, robust performance, and ongoing professional development all with an eye towards best serving the clients of both Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank.
