KATE HERSEY NAMED TO LEAD WEALTH MANAGEMENT 

Charlesbridge, the Mutual Holding Company for Dedham Savings and South Shore Bank, announces the appointment of Kathryn (Kate) Hersey, CFA, MBA, as Head of Wealth Management and Chief Investment Officer. Hersey will oversee the wealth & investment advisory teams at Charlesbridge, providing strategic direction and advancing client-centered growth initiatives.

Hersey joins Charlesbridge from Berkshire Bank, where she served as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Wealth Management division. There she successfully expanded assets under management, launched innovative products, and developed new business channels.

Hersey, an expert in investment strategy and risk management, previously was Senior Portfolio Manager at Cambridge Trust, managing client portfolios, contributing to substantial asset growth and co-managing Sustainable Investing and Equity Income Portfolios.
